Studies will focus on broad business knowledge, technical expertise, and management skills required by the modern business environment. Since the outcome degree offers students a broad introduction to business, students often use this degree as a precursor to pursuing a specialized master’s program. Your coursework will introduce you to the basics of a variety of business fields, including accounting, economics, management information systems, business analysis, and marketing. A minor in business provides non-business majors with the professional skills necessary for positions in business and industry. The curriculum gives a broad introduction to business topics, including finance, management and marketing.

Because there are only two required courses in the program, you’ll be focusing on elective courses that you’ll select to align with your interests. In addition, you’ll be developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that will help you build and advance a successful career. Students can choose from 13 business-related student organizations to create professional connections, mysterious develop leadership skills and build international friendships. You must have a 2.0 average or better in the courses listed below in order to graduate. Students must also complete 9 units of upper division General Education and a total of 120 units for the degree. A minor in business administration can be a great supplement to a wide range of degrees outside the LeBow College of Business.

You will have a well-rounded business education touching on accounting, business law, computing, economics, marketing and statistics. This course incorporates a study abroad program with an emphasis on examining the conduct of business in foreign countries. Students will obtain first-hand experience in communicating with business professionals, business school students, and other constituencies.
